Thank
you for visiting my website. I know it's unusual to write a bio
in the first person, but I wanted to communicate with you personally
and give you a bit of background on what brought me to where I am
today. Different from many writers, I wasn't born knowing I
wanted to be a writer and I haven't known writing was my destiny since
I was ten years old. I also haven't spent years and years of my
life trying to decide how to use it. What is true is that I was
born a storyteller. I was only recently, I decided to start
telling my stories on a page.
Virtually all the stories I have written were born from my own
experience in some way or another and the reality concepts were based
on many of my own realities.
The one thing however that truly pushed me into doing what I am now is
working for a major Los Angeles studio for 5 1/2 years. The time
I spend there was during one of the most successful periods for this
company. They were riding the success wave of a number one rated
show and every facet of their business from motion picture, to
broadcast and cable TV to show creation and development. It was
good stuff, there is no question about that, but what I learned was
that the process of finding material to produce was severly
limited. The fear of failure, financial loss and lawsuits forced
business deciscion makers to limit their creative input to a tiny
fraction of the population and everyone else was virtually shut out,
along with all their fanatastic ideas.
Well, that made me jump into the entertianament arena. In early
2006, I sat down and begin to brainstorm story ideasI sat down and
brainstormed idea at the beginning of 2006 and when I was done I had
about 100 good ideas. I scaled that down to about twenty
commercially marketable concepts. On some projects, I work with
one of those gifted writers who has know their destiny since
pre-adolecence, on other projects, I utilize the services of a script
consultant. By taping all resources available to me, I ensure a
catalog of original ideas that I am able to offer, in most cases option
free.
